Nestled 160 metres up in a secluded valley between Llanfairfechan and Abergwyngregyn, Rhiwiau is a traditional stone-built Guesthouse ideally situated with panoramic views overlooking the Menai Straights and Isle of Anglesey with a stunning backdrop of hills, woodland & mountains. Rhiwiau is an excellent base to explore the Snowdonia National Park and coastal towns that North Wales has to offer – only 5 minutes from the A55.

Guests who want to explore the countryside are encouraged to bring along their walking boots with numerous scenic walks for varying abilities from our door. For those visiting us for some R&R, Rhiwiau offers the peace and tranquillity that allows our guests to truly take a break from their busy lives – a chance to relax and unwind surrounded by picturesque views in a spectacular rural setting.

A family-run guesthouse since 1972 a warm welcome awaits guests, both new and returning, that are looking for a special holiday destination/ base in a relaxed and peaceful setting.

North Wales holds many diverse attractions including castles, National Trust houses, Betws-y-Coed and Snowdonia, marine and bird reserves, golden beaches on Anglesey, beautiful gardens, theatres, water sports, zoos, dry ski slopes, 10-pin bowling, golf, fishing and horse riding.

Our four bedrooms have en-suite facilities,TV, tea/coffee making facilities and are available as twin,double or family rooms. Single occupancy is available. The accommodation is fully centrally heated with log fires and natural stone features in the lounge and dining room.
Wireless internet access available.

This is a non smoking establishment, however, smoking is permitted outside in designated areas.

Excellent home cooking.
Local and home grown produce used when ever possible .
Vegetarian and special diets can be catered for.
